Your medical malpractice lawyer cannot FIRE you!

If your lawyer want to stop representing you, he/she must have your permission or make a motion seeking permission to withdraw as your lawyer from the court. The Judge may not grant the lawyer’s request to withdraw as your lawyer, particularly if your case if near trial. The lawyer must have a damn good reason to withdraw as your lawyer and even then it is far from a sure thing that the Judge will allow him/her to withdraw as your lawyer.
